Book Like King ("we", "our", "us") provides advertising and directory listing services. By purchasing coins, advertising space, or any promotional services on our platform, you agree to the following Refund Policy.
1. Contact Us Before Requesting Any Refund
Before initiating any refund, dispute, or chargeback through banks, PayPal, credit card provider, or payment processors, you must contact us directly at:

Please do NOT open a dispute with a payment processor first. Doing so may:
- Delay your refund for several days or weeks
- Cause verification issues
- Create unnecessary complications for our business
- Result in suspension or review of your account
When you contact us directly, we can resolve refund matters much faster—often within minutes, or up to 12 hours maximum.
We will simply deduct unused coins from your wallet and refund your money using your preferred method (bank transfer, UPI, PayPal, etc.).
2. General Refund Policy
All payments made to Book Like King are final.
You are purchasing advertising space, visibility, and digital promotional services. Once an advertisement or listing is activated, the service is considered delivered.
3. Refund Eligibility (Coin-Based System)
Refunds through Book Like King are only considered under these conditions:
- You have more than 100 unused coins remaining in your wallet.
- Coins that have already been used cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
Refund Deductions
If a refund is approved:
- Applicable GST will be deducted
- 2% platform processing fee will be deducted
These deductions cover financial, processing, administrative, and compliance costs.
4. No Refunds Will Be Issued For:
Refunds will not be provided for:
- Change of mind
- Poor performance of your listing (e.g., low traffic, fewer enquiries, low conversions, lack of bookings)
- Suspensions or removals caused by a breach of our Terms or any Australian law
- Incorrect or misleading information supplied by the Advertiser
- Service downtime caused by external hosting providers or third-party infrastructure
- Coins or credits already used
- Refund requests initiated directly via payment processors (chargebacks or disputes)
If a user raises a chargeback without contacting us first, account restrictions may apply.
5. Exceptions Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Refunds or credits will only be issued when required under the Australian Consumer Law, including where:
- Services were not supplied at all, or
- A major service failure occurs that prevents us from delivering the purchased advertising services
Where applicable, Book Like King may provide credit toward future advertising instead of a cash refund at our discretion.
6. Advertiser Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring your listing content is accurate and lawful
- Complying with all platform rules and Australian regulations
Listings suspended or removed due to non-compliance do not qualify for refunds or credits.
7. Refund Request Process (If Eligible)
If your refund meets eligibility and ACL criteria:
- Submit a written request to admin@booklikeking.com within 7 days of purchase.
- Refunds, if approved, may take up to 30 business days to process.
- All refunds will be processed only after deducting GST and platform fees.
8. Fast Resolution Guarantee
When users contact us first:
- Most refunds are processed within minutes, and
- All cases are resolved within 12 hours, except in rare special circumstances
This ensures a faster and smoother experience compared to involving external payment processors.
